Evaara is located in the scenic valleys of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu—just 4 km from the city center, tucked away in a peaceful and lush hillside.
You can reach Evaara by car or taxi from Madurai (the nearest airport) which is about 120 km away. We can also help you coordinate transfers on request (charges apply). The closest railway station is Kodai Road.
Evaara is a private, 4-bedroom villa with exclusive access to all spaces: a large lawn, patio, balconies, gazebo, full kitchen, and common areas. It’s ideal for families and groups up to 12 adults.
Check-in is from 2 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
We love animals, but to maintain hygiene and comfort for all guests, pets are not allowed on the premises.
Our fully-equipped kitchen is available for light cooking. We also have an in-house menu for lunch and dinner (advance notice required). Bringing a personal chef is subject to prior approval.
Alcohol consumption is allowed only in the designated Gazebo area. Drinking inside the villa is not permitted. A cleaning fee will apply for violations.
Absolutely. Evaara has a dedicated workstation with high-speed WiFi, cozy reading corners, and private balconies that make it perfect for working remotely—with a view.
We serve home-style, locally inspired meals made fresh upon request. Choose from our a la carte in-house menu and let us know 3 hours in advance.

Yes, a fully stocked first-aid kit is available at Evaara for minor injuries and common medications. For anything more, our staff can assist you promptly.
A full advance payment is required to confirm your stay. ID proof for at least one guest must be provided at the time of booking. A valid ID must be submitted to the caretaker at check-in.
Yes, we provide comfortable driver accommodation for up to 4 drivers. This includes breakfast, and is available at an additional charge. Please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements.
